1) Lots of good things coming out of Trevor's airline right now. The furloughed pilots will likely all be coming back within a year thanks to the summer schedule, the 30-40 going to Vietnam, and the general increase that comes from the added United Express routes they picked up this spring. A few captain positions are open in both bases, too.
2) We're sneaking off to Chicago tomorrow for a few days to see our dear friends Dave and Erin! I've only been there once before, for Dave and Erin's wedding, and we really didn't get a chance to see much of the city. However, what happened while I was there made the whole trip worth it: I met Dave and Erin; I celebrated their wedding with them, Trevor, Jeff, and Daina; and on the night after the wedding, Trevor and I went for a drive and found a cute little park where Trevor proposed to me! I don't know if we'll make it back to that spot on this trip, but it would be nice to take some pictures there during daylight. :)
3) I've been chosen to part of the design team at Reverie Creations. It's a wonderful site, which both a message board and a store front. They've got some great specials going on right now. And of course, the part that Trevor likes best is the fact that they are based in West Saint Paul, Minnesota -- close to where he grew up. He's got a special pride in Minnesota and loves businesses that are based there. However, it's pretty easy when the list includes Target and Best Buy!
4) Michael's has the whole Amplified line by American Crafts on clearance right now -- down to as low as 29 cents a sheet. There's even scalloped edge pattern papers with solid reverse sides! I've become a big fan of purple lately, and these papers are helping feed the addiction for a little while!
